Mammography Update.....
KCIC is now recognizing the American College of Radiology (ACR) recommendations of the reading of mammograms in batches rather than individually, noting that this approach raises the number of detected cancers and lowers the number of patients recalled for additional studies.
Due to these recommendations, KCIC will no longer be giving immediate results as we have in the past. KCIC is committed to performance and quality improvement. If you have questions regarding this practice please call us at KCIC or follow this link
